a. BOTH. MY EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND IS IN THE STUDY OF INTERIOR DESIGN AS WELL AS WORKING WITHIN DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE FIRMS. PHOTOGRAPHED STARTED AS A SIDE HUSTLE, BECAUSE LETS BE HONEST, FIST YEAR JR DESIGNER IN AN OFFICE FULL OF ARCHITECTS ISNT PAYING ALL THE BILLS AND STUDENT LOAN DEBT. THAT IS NOW MY FULL TIME PRACTICE. SAVVY AND SELF TAUGHT.

A. NO FRIEND. i DO NOT. I AM NOT READY FOR THAT JUST YET. I HAS TAKEN ME ABOUT 6 MONTHS TO FINISH MY OWN - BUT ID BE HAPPY TO RECOMMEND A RESOURCE FOR YOU!

Q. WHAT MADE YOU JUMP INTO PHOTOGRAPHY?
A. PICKED UP A CAMERA TO HONESTLY MAKE SOME EXTRA COIN AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. IT GAVE ME EXCITEMENT TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW ALONG SIDE MY PROFESSION DESIGN FULL TIME. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION IS AN IMPORTANT PHASE TO COMMUNICATE THE NECESSARY STEPS OF A DESIGN, AND SOMETIMES NOT AS "GLAMOROUS", AND MY CREATIVE SELF NEEDED A BIT MORE + SO, SHAKIRA HUNT CREATIVE STUDIO WAS BORN.

Q. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN EXPERIENTIAL PHOTOG+DESIGNER?
A. WELL, ITS SIMPLE. AS A DESIGNER MY FOCUS FIRST AFTER CREATING SPACE, IS CREATING AN EXPERIENCE. EXPERIENCE TO ME, MEANS HOW WE INTERACT WITH NOT ONLY OUR ENVIRONMENTS, BUT HOW INTERACT AND UNDERSTAND ONE ANOTHER. HOW WE ENGAGE WITH OTHERS. AS A CREATIVE DIRECTOR MY GOAL IS TO UNDERSTAND MY CLIENT ULTIMATE GOAL, BIG PICTURE FIRST, AND TRANSLATE THAT DOWN TO THE SMALL DETAILS.
